At first might be mistaken for a clump of grass until it starts producing its splashy bright blue, daisy-like flowers the distinctive yellow centers. Six-petaled, violet-blue, star like flowers solitary or in small clusters at the tip of long flowering stalks. Sturdy leaves remain green and upright through the season. up to 15" tall. Loves the edge of the pond/stream or moist boggy area. Full sun to part shade, Zone 3-9
