Plant Description Name: Houttuynia cordata 'Variegata' (Chameleon Plant)
This beautiful plant produces large ivy like leaves, when squeezed releases a fragrance with a vague likeness to tangerine and sandalwood. Bright green leaves become overlaid with creamy-yellow, then shows a pinky-red which then matures to lovely shades of crimson red. Then as a encore pretty white flowers appear July to September. up to 12" tall. Full sun to shade. Happy to grow in dry or moist (to the point of being boggy) soils. Zone 6
